Arab British
Urology Society
جمعية المسالك البولية
العربية البريطانية
A professional network supporting urologists of Arab heritage practising in the United Kingdom — from medical students and foundation doctors to senior consultants. We convene scientific meetings, mentor trainees, and build bridges between two clinical traditions.

Arab British Urology Society (ABUS)
The Arab British Urology Society (ABUS) was established to bring together Arab urologists practising in the United Kingdom while fostering strong educational, clinical, and research collaborations with colleagues across the Middle East and beyond.
Born from a shared vision among a group of inspired urologists, ABUS was created to unite a growing community of professionals and provide a platform that promotes excellence in patient care, education, research, mentorship, and professional development. The Society encourages the exchange of knowledge and expertise, supporting both trainees and established consultants throughout their careers.
A core mission of ABUS is to strengthen academic and professional links between the UK and the Arab world. Through partnerships with universities, hospitals, and urological societies, the Society aims to facilitate scientific meetings, collaborative research, fellowship opportunities, faculty exchange, and the sharing of best clinical practice.
ABUS is committed to building an inclusive and forward-looking community that values collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning. By connecting talented urologists across borders, the Society seeks to advance urological education, inspire future leaders, and improve patient care throughout the UK, the Middle East, and the wider international community.
